Our Most Challenging Sail Yet - Loose Rigging and Line Snaps! - Ep 16
January 14, 2021 by Sailing Jibsea | Language: EN Play Time: 00:14:53 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

13 hours? No problem, quick 3 hour sail? Oh was that an experience!
We had a very pleasant 13 hour sail crossing the Great Bahama Bank from North Bimini, Bahamas to Chub Cay, Berry Islands, Bahamas. What we thought was going to be a short quick 3 hour sail from Chub Cay to New Providence ended up being our most challenging sail yet!
From wind, 6-8′ waves, squalls and reefing, we had loosened rigging and a snapped jib sheet to deal with. This tested our abilities to think and act quickly while on the water and at the end of the day, we were rewarded with reeling in some dinner as we approached the anchorage!
