Sailing Gypsy’s crew finds themselves surrounded by a sea of azure waters, clear like glass, revealing vibrant marine life, from the trembling touch of NASA groupers to swarms of countless turtles and lemon sharks. Despite this natural paradise, however, an unforeseen issue arises.
Solving Starter Battery Issues in Remote Booby Island
Having experienced several days of frustration with a dead starter battery, the crew must find a creative solution. Their external charger is only capable of trickling enough juice into their starting battery to fire up the engine for short periods. As they contemplate options ranging from YouTube hacks to sailing to neighboring islands in search of replacement parts or a spare battery, they devise an unconventional workaround.
Sailing Gypsy’s Troubleshooting Tactics
The crew manages to start the engine after disconnecting all loads and tapping into their house bank to provide enough juice for an initial startup, which temporarily resolves their immediate issue. However, they remain wary of potential long-term effects on their batteries.
