Riding Awake in Paradise Just riding awake at the moment from a very large boat that’s gone past, and I can hear the knives and forks drawing. What did you hear that was rough Li of fork straw is going for it at the moment downstairs, but yeah we’re still here in this lovely spot near Aly’s Beach. The Joy of Consistent Wind Something I have to say I’m really enjoying about being over here in the Ionian is the consistency of the wind, there’s just like a constant gorgeous light breeze which is both cooling but also relaxing. The Beautiful Waters of Zakynthos The water here hands down some of the greenest most incredible shades of turquoise and blue I have witnessed yet in the whole time we’ve been in Greece, it’s phenomenal. Change of Plans Due to Personal Circumstances However, life happens and plot twist, as it does, we really sadly received the news last night that a member of Ross’s family passed away which has obviously rocked everybody’s world not just ours but the family at home as well. The Decision to Head North And so we need to get the captain back to the UK to be there for his family because, okay we live this gorgeous lifestyle and it’s what we chose to do but when the sh*t hits the fan, we are there. You know and that’s what happens isn’t it with family and friends and loved ones when they need you, you have to be there so we’re scuppering our plans. Engine Trouble and a Change of Course So we were due to go north in light of recent circumstances, but we can’t because the engine is just not cooling down properly at the moment. Ross explains what’s going on. The Struggle and Solution for Moving the Anchor We had to deal with a situation involving another boat that crossed our anchor causing us to drift into their boat line, resulting in us having to get our massive rope off that got out. Ross managed to mark on his phone where he dropped the anchor and tried to solve the issue while we drifted. A Shift in Plans and Ross Leaves for England After all of this, Ross makes a call on going back to Zakynthos port. He realized he doesn’t want to go after this has happened and now this guy can’t go with his boat full of people who just went on it for their nice holiday. In the end, Ross leaves for England. The Final Decision Made After this complete shambles of a situation, we got out and dragged up the boat’s massive rope. Got off that got out. We’ve dropped down here. Ross has got 18 minutes to decide whether or not he leaves me and Josh here having no idea of what it’s like to be in this position here.
