Going on a mission with Sailing Project Atticus | Ep91
June 15, 2023 by Sailing Fair Isle | Language: EN Play Time: 00:24:19 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

It hadn’t been a good start to the season in the Med weather wise up until now, but finally we get some great sailing for a passage from Malta to Sicily and beyond.
We also found what had to be one of the best anchorages in the Med. Dwejra Bay is a stunning, almost completely enclosed sheer-sided cove and we are joined by our friends Jordan and Desiree from Sailing Project Atticus to do some exploring.
We also meet up with old friends and ex colleague Vernan Mann who lives on the island and offers to show us around. We mentioned his excellen and very funny podcast ‘Don’t shoot my driver’ which gives you a flavour of just how mad our old job was working on international news. You can find it here : https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/dont-shoot-my-driver/id1607763123
If you haven’t already checked out Sailing Project Atticus (unlikely!) do have a look at their very professional channel : https://www.youtube.com/@ProjectAtticus
I will put out an in depth review on the Swell Pro splash drone SD4 but in the mean time we are getting some nice pictures from it and things look very positive… a drone that won’t end up at the bottom of the ocean, Yaaah! Here’s a link if you want to find out more : https://store.swellpro.com/products/splash-drone-4?variant=40006413484112
And the close up shot was shot on an Insta 360 1 inch version which can produce some stunning pictures, I’ll do a little review on that too but here’s a link to their page that gets you a free selfie stick in the meantime : https://www.insta360.com/sal/one_rs_1_inch_360?insrc=INRTU6G

Tropical storms, blue holes and the other side of the Bahamas | Ep143
Andros is not a well travelled cruising ground, but it has a lot to offer. It's the largest island in the Bahamas, in fact it could fit every other island in it's space with room to spare. It's known as the 'family island' and is very friendly it also has ...
Heidi and Franny, follow up interview – 3 years into cruising
Regular viewers will be familiar with Heidi and Franny as we interviewed them 3 years ago at the Annapolis boat show when they were first looking for a catamaran and we have stayed with them on board in Annapolis for the last two boat shows. Since then th...
Can you afford to come to the Bahamas?!!! | Ep142
Everyone tells us we can't afford not to come to the Bahamas. It has the clearest waters at the perfect temperature. Strings of fabulous islands and perfect trade wind sailing in protected waters. However, there's a way to come to the Bahamas and that's we...
Epic Sail in the clearest water with the largest fish yet! | Ep141
It's the last of the Cuba series, but it all happens in this episode. We sail the whole Northern coast of Cuba, hide from a storm, dock in over 30 knots of wind (without the bow thruster), run out of food and then see the other side of Cuba (it's a shock!)...
