Fair Isle Mega Compilation Season 3 (part1)
This weeks movie length look back at previous season was as we were sailing out of Venice and across the Adriatic to Croatia. It was a wrench, Venice is just so lovely, but the shock is softened somewhat by the beauty of Croatia. We are not so keen on the rip off mentality that seemed to be going on here but it cannot be denied, the cruising ground is spectacular!
Lock down restrictions were still keeping the crowds away, but Northern Croatia is a hot spot for German tourists, most of them nude for some reason!
The islands are also where much of the film Mama Mia! was filmed so we have fun finding the locations.

Sailing Fair Isle
We have sold our house in the UK and moved aboard our boat. She is a classic cutter rigged 48 foot Hans Christian; a very strong blue water boat more than capable of sailing around the world. Just hope we are! We are professional documentary filmmakers working for the BBC and many other TV stations around the world. Broadcasters aren't interested in commissioning sailing programs these days so we are launching our channel online. Sailing Fair Isle is aiming to be more than just a vlog showing our travels. It will be a travel log, but also a documentary style show with proper content and broadcast technical standards. That's the plan anyway. Lets see how it goes.
