Ep:17
We have been anchored in the Mar Menor for 7 weeks. This week the lockdown in Spain eased slightly with children being allowed out of their homes for short walks for the first time. Like the rest of the world, Spain is wary of a second wave of Covid-19 infections. We are unable to sail except within this inland sea. We have spent our days riding the cycle of weather, water shortages and needing more gas. This time I think we nailed the gas situation with two large bottles donated by Manny’s Bar. Thank you. Also, weather allowing, we have been able to go for some exercise on the deserted island nearby and Steve visited a wooden boat belonging to one of our patrons to check it was ok. So things are beginning to improve for us on Fair Isle. Stay safe everyone.
