Hi Guys, In this video we share past footage of different trips to Desolation Sound while playing music from one of our favorite Canadian singers of old style sea songs. His name is Stan Rogers and here’s a short profile on him….Stanley Allison Rogers (November 29, 1949 – June 2, 1983)[1] was a Canadian folk musician and songwriter. He was noted for his rich, baritone voice and his traditional-sounding songs which were frequently inspired by Canadian history and the daily lives of working people, especially those from the fishing villages of the Maritime provinces and, later, the farms of the Canadian prairies and Great Lakes.[2] Rogers died in a fire aboard Air Canada Flight 797 on the ground at the Greater Cincinnati Airport at the age of 33. Gone too soon….Thank you for the beautiful music you left behind!Hope you enjoy the vid and please don’t forget to leave a comment, thumb up👍, subscribe if your not already and click on the 🔔 to receive notifications whenever we put out a new vid.
