In this vid we share our passage from New Zealand to Tubuai, Austral Islands. We chose to take the southern route in the higher latitudes where we picked up the westerlies to make almost 2000 miles of easting before we turned North towards our destination. By taking the longer and harder route we accomplished our goal while our friend chose the direct route and never made the destination instead ending up in the Cook Islands. We experienced several gales and a storm and also tell about our experience with our failed autopilot. Come and join us on our journey… Hope you enjoy the old footage😊
