New Boat, Big Test | Weekend Shakedown Cruise
After a week away, the yacht finally returns to Ocean Marina after the delivery crew completed the long run down to Malaysia to export and re-import the boat. It was a necessary trip to reset the paperwork, but now the boat is back where she belongs — and we are one step closer to cruising full time.
I film the delivery crew bringing her back into the marina, then we get ready for one more weekend shakedown cruise before officially setting off on the next chapter. We also welcome new crew member Elissa aboard, and together we sail out to the beautiful resort island of Koh Larn.
It turns into a great sail, a perfect island destination, and hopefully the final test run before we stop preparing to cruise… and actually start living the cruising life.
