Vlog#3
We got an early start as we had a long sail ahead of us, head up the Straight of Juan da Fuca. It was dead calm so we motored along and got some boat jobs done.
Once we got to the mouth of the straight we got some pretty good headwind and managed to get into the anchorage at Neah Bay before dark.
We checked out the museum which was amazing, but unfortunately not cameras allowed, you’ll have to see it for yourself.
We headed out really early in the fog into the Pacific Ocean for our very first time. Once the fog lifted it was calm and we motored up to La Push. Once we started getting close to shore the waves got massive and we couldn’t see the entrance so we decided to call the coast guard and get them to lead us in.
This was our first bar crossing and everytime we tried to research crossing over one it was extremely dangerous and there wasn’t a lot of information.
