Four years ago we moved from England to California not knowing a thing about sailing. In September 2019 we sailed our 36 foot boat under the Golden Gate Bridge and turned left, leaving the San Francisco Bay behind but taking our cosy home with us. For us, this is the journey of a lifetime. We intend to visit some of the world's most beautiful and unspoiled cruising grounds. We'd like to share our trials and tribulations with you here, where we hope to bring you an authentic snapshot of our new life afloat!

We continue our upwind slog out of Shelter Bay, Panama, buoyed by images of the gorgeous San Blas Islands ahead of us! Despite crew comfort being at an all time low, we made fast progress to our overnight stop of Linton Bay and onward the next day, finally reaching the unique archipelago, where we were reunited with our longtime cruising buddies, Colin and Julian of SV Boundless!!
