After our windiest day onboard so far — with 50knot gusts, waterspouts, and a dragging anchor
We run through the engines, check the systems, and make sure Bluefish is ready before leaving again. From there, we sail to Porto Cheli, where we spend a couple of calmer days at anchor, doing small boat jobs, getting things back in order, and enjoying a slower pace after the intensity of the previous passage.
We also paddleboard over the submerged remains of ancient Halieis, including the Sanctuary of Apollo, before heading back out for a short sail to Dokos Island for the night.
From Dokos, we continue toward Poros — settling back into the normal rhythm of life aboard: checking weather, moving when it feels right, anchoring, fixing small things, and enjoying the quieter side of sailing in Greece.
Sailing Bluefish is our long-term Lagoon 42 ownership archive in the Mediterranean — documenting real family life aboard, passages, anchorages, weather, boat systems, maintenance, and the decisions that come with living and sailing full-time.
