The Tuamotus are some of the most beautiful islands we've ever visited—but living this far from everything comes with challenges most people never see.
In this episode, we explore life in the remote atolls of French Polynesia. From provisioning and planning an overnight passage, difficult anchorages, abandoned pearl farms, wildlife encounters, drift diving, and beach bonfires with friends, we're learning that paradise isn't always easy—but it is worth it.
As we continue making our way through the Tuamotus toward Fakarava, we're discovering that what makes this place special isn't just the crystal-clear water or incredible marine life. It's the people, the community, and the shared experience of exploring one of the most remote cruising destinations on earth.
