This is the first part of our 4000 mile crossing of the Pacific Ocean, a journey that took 32 days at sea direct from Panama to French Polynesia. We have a good forecast as we set sails from the Las Perlas Islands on the first leg of our route aiming to the north of Galapagos. We encounter a bit of drama on our last night before the crossing as some local fishermen manage to wrap us in their fishing net while fishing in the bay at night. Luckily no damages occurred to the Beaver and we can keep our schedule to set off the next morning.
