Isla Isabel, The Galapagos of Mexico | Sailing Avocet
September 13, 2024 by Sailing Avocet | Language: EN Play Time: 00:17:22 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

After a long stay in Banderas Bay, we sailed north to the small tiny but wild Isla Isabel, often called the Galapagos of Mexico! 🏝️ This National Park provided us with plenty of great hikes through lush landscapes, getting up close with the island’s famous blue-footed booby colonies and magnificent frigates, as well as snorkeling to explore the vibrant marine life beneath our keel 🌊🐠 It was all a dream come true, but just as we were ready to sail north, disaster struck — our engine failed… again! Watch as we navigate the challenges of sailing in paradise and discover the beauty and excitement of this hidden gem.
