S2E46 first few days in the water plus alternator install and motor mounts replaced (DR)
October 19, 2024 by Sailing Artha | Language: EN Play Time: 00:16:12 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

In this video I share a little of what it’s like to be back on the water (goofing around with Daniel and Kaijin) and I also knock out some critical boat projects with Brock’s help. I got a lot of comments on the diesel video advising me to tighten the alternator belt. It was on my list of things to address once the boat was in the water because in order to finish the altenator install, the motor needed to be on. The little belt pulley is for a serpentine belt. Ideally I’ll replace my belts and pulleys with that for a serpentine kit. It’s expensive though. I did have the v-belt pulley from the old alternator and am using that for now. Thanks for the comments!
