S1 E27 Hauling out the new boat (Dominican Republic)

I untied from the mooring and with the help of my buddy boats (Bob on SV Nena II, and Lisa and Ellis on SV Booby Trap @boobytrapsailing3832), plus a few extra hands in the harbor, moved the boat to the yard. Isaac at Tropical and his crew did an AMAZING job getting the boat blocked on the trailer, up the ramp, and into the yard. From the very beginning I have nothing but respect for their business and facilities. They’ve treated me with utmost professionalism and care. Basically, I’d heard mixed reviews from the people in Luperon, but my own experience was wonderful. I would haul-out with them again.

Thank you so much for watching, liking, commenting, subscribing! If you want to get these updates earlier, I post them as I create them on Patreon.com/SailingArtha. I can’t thank my patrons enough for the unconditional support throughout this whole process, and the community they’ve given me. A special thanks to my patrons, and the others who have bought off my wish list. I couldn’t be doing this without you. Links to my Patreon, Wish Lists and Blog are on my channel. I really need your support!

At this point, I’ve got $3,780 towards getting the new boat officially in my name. The price tag is $25,000 which means I’m still trying to front $21,220. I’ve got boat projects well underway and hope I can pay off the boat in time to go sailing when I finish these projects. If you’d like to help, please send a YT super thanks, donate to my GoFundMe (https://gofund.me/9ef20ebc) or send a donation on PayPal.me/NicoleDemetra. Thank you all for your support.
