Episode 5 – Sailing the Florida Keys anchoring at Long Key, Rodriguez Key and Elliot Key.
Welcome to another episode of sailing Summer Rules. This time we continue sailing up the Florida Keys. We leave our anchorage near Long Key and have a beautiful sail up to Rodriguez Key. We start our preparation to cross to the Bahamas by getting our dog Jack checked by the mobile vet in Key Largo. Next we cruise up to Angelfish Creek. A shallow (for us) creek that allows you to move from the ocean back in to the protected Card Sound. We end the episode at Elliot Key within eyeshot of the Miami skyline. We also get tormented by another storm but luckly we only catch the edge of it.
