MAN vs. MOTOR!! Who will prevail?! In this week’s BONUS episode of sailboat living with SailAway, we present another “Maintenance Short”.
You may have seen last week’s regular episode “Every Sailboat Needs a Friend” detailing the testing of our new dinghy and motor, which resulted in discovered issues with our 4 hp 2-stroke outboard. Eric digs into it this week to figure out what ails it and *hopefully* doctor her back to health. To quote Eric, “if it involves a boat, it won’t be easy”…there were definitely bumps in the road. But as we mentioned last week, if you’re sailing island to island (which is coming up VERY soon) you’ve gotta have a functioning dinghy WITH a motor.
