SailAway 38 | Trading WINE for RUM and a SPARK PLUG | Sailboat Living Sailing VLog
MAN and BEER OVERBOARD, a WORKING outboard, and AMAZING GOODWILL among cruisers!! This week on SailAway we meet some amazing fellow cruisers who not only help us with our outboard motor, but also give us fish AND RUM!! We then head to Marsh Harbor and do a little onshore exploring, hit a lay day regatta party, and discover an amazing sunset view locals restaurant. Zeke and I hike HARD for groceries and we barely make it to the start of Race 2, where a crazy storm front blows through on seconds from our start, resulting in us dragging behind the fleet and playing a long game of catch up, sailing all the way from Marsh Harbor to Guana Cay. But sometimes things aren’t as dire as they seem, and after a less than graceful dinghy retrieval by Eric, we hit the party for a pleasant surprise! Sometimes sailboat living is downright busy!
