SailAway 34 | Bahamas Sailing - Best Beach Bar in the Abacos? | Sailboat Living Sailing Vlog
UP THE MAST for REPAIRS, dodgy WHALE CAY CUT, and THE PERFECT ISLAND BAR!
This week on SailAway, we continue our cruise down the Abacos, Bahamas island chain with a destination of Regatta Time Abaco to do some racing. But a pesky jib furler issue has Eric up the mast and slicing and dicing some lines. Soon all is well and we make our way out the sometimes dicey Whale Cay Cut out into the Atlantic – the only route for most sailboats to continue down the chain at this point. The weather cooperates and we grab a mooring ball in beautiful Fisher Bay. We soon discover our dinghy motor is NOT cooperation, but Loren valiantly rows us to shore for some needed drinks and chill time on Guana Cay.
