Aggressive peacocks, the Fountain of Youth, and a CREEPY stuffed animal house!! Sailboat living with SailAway #11. This week we duck out of the unrelenting wind on the Intracoastal Waterway and check the sailboat into not only one, but two marinas in St. Augustine.
It wasn’t all fun and games while here but it definitely leaned toward fun and relaxation. Since the wind speed and direction nor the boat wanted to cooperate for a Bahamas crossing this time around, we decided to cut our losses and enjoy our Florida cruise! There’s more to the sailing world than just the water. First, we dug into the engine to alleviate our overheating issues, then explored a lot of beautiful old St. Augustine.
