Expedition Yacht: Modern thoughts on Sailing…The Whole boat including The KITE!
Boat building is generally old hat and all been done before.
As boat builder I’m bored and I’m choosing fresh ideas to spice up my own build. With a goal to take electric sailing as far as I can I’m searching every inch of our industry for ideas that will help me on this journey.
This week I’m exploring alternatives to traditional sails, anchoring solutions all the way from ropes, to anchors and a 48v windlass from leading manufacturer Lewmar.
Ditching the chart plotter in search of a more future friendly solution? Yes, it can be done… is it a good idea? Let’s find out…
