This is part 2 of our crazy repatriation journey from Saint Martin to Curacao.
After over two months stuck in Saint Martin, we decided that the best course of action for us to escape hurricane season and reconnect with our sanity was to repatriate to Sweden.
We were finally able to sail to Curacao, where we had a day to decommission Polar Seal before being driven to a “quarantine facility”. The next day, we boarded one of the very few planes still flying to Europe from the Caribean, and got to experience “repatriation class” flying :p
We are extremely grateful for all the people who made our return to Sweden possible and although it took us about two weeks to recover from that trip, we are really happy to be back!
