We think many can relate to the title of this video 🙂 Boats are complicated! Join us in Sidney as we install a new stove, visit Sidney Spit and then cruise to the capital of British Columbia.
We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium, untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter, January 2016, and started sailing south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.

We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we sold everything we owned and saved money for 1,5 years while living aboard our 40-foot custom built aluminium sailboat. Then we untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016. After sailing half way around the world, we welcomed our daughter in the end of 2019 and bought a bigger boat (Najad 440) that we're now cruising on as a family.
