We took a break from boat building and went up to the Swedish mountains to ski. It was so nice with the fresh, crisp cold air and so much fun to teach Vera how to ski. After 5 days we came back to Sun Hill Farm and continued the boat build.
In this video we also talk about how much money we spent on building the strongback and the temporary hull frames. And we also give you an update on the latest changes in the boat layout!
We are a Swedish family who have sailed the world since 2016 while sharing the adventures here on YouTube. While we are still sailing our main focus now a days is building RAN III, a 50 ft sailboat that we are building from scratch. We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we sold everything we owned and saved money for 1,5 years while living aboard our 40-foot custom built aluminium sailboat. Then we untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter in January 2016. After sailing half way around the world, we welcomed our daughter in the end of 2019 and bought a bigger boat (Najad 440) that we're now cruising on as a family. We want to share this sailing adventure with you and inspire you to live your dreams and to explore the world. We love making inspiring videos and upload a new episode every Friday!
