Giants in the sea - Ep. 22 RAN Sailing

Join us as we explore the volcanic island Tenerife by land and sea! The volcano Teide is Spain’s highest mountain and walking around in the crater feels like walking on another planet. Johan’s parents are visiting us and we move the boat from the very roly marina in Las Galletas to Los Gigantes. The marina entrance is described as very dangerous and shallow in pilot books but we have no problem to enter. Los Gigantes got its name from the giant cliffs and we get the dinghy ready to go and explore them.

We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved in to our sailboat RAN, a one-off aluminium built Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started sailing south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds takes us.
