Well, we successfully escaped being locked in Northern waters…
Now it was time to get back to work.
Bagheera gets transformed into a sailboat and there were a few key repairs we needed to do before she could be sailed. But on top of that, there was still a long list of projects that would make our life onboard a lot more comfortable, or make Bagheera look a little bit less like a construction site, so we decided to tackle a bunch of them.
We hadn’t planned to stay this long in Catskill but the welcome from Riverview Marine Services was second to none. The owner, Mike, was extremely helpful and resourceful for the boat projects we had going, and kept finding ways to make our stay more affordable.

Postcards From Bagheera
We're Tom, Amandine, and Bonbon. In October 2019, our lives were changed forever when we won a writing contest and were given a Morgan 32, Bagheera. Her previous owners, Paul and Maren, wanted her to be loved and to be sailed. So they decided not to sell the boat but to pick her next owners. They asked for just one thing in return, to keep them posted, once in a while, of our adventures. So... this channel is for them! Videos are the way we've chosen to share this adventure, but to us, it's like sending a postcard once in a while. Since last year, we've made Bagheera our home and are now sailing south with the goal of getting to Guadeloupe... for now! We’re avid windsurfers and surfers, recently wingfoilers, and hope to catch a bunch of waves along the way ! Hope you follow along on our epic adventure !
