We planned a routine haul-out for our boat before our Atlantic crossing with the ARC in November, but things took a devastating turn. As the boat was being lowered onto the keel and stands, we heard a loud crack.
Now, we’re facing an uncertain future with costly repairs looming ahead. We’re left wondering—will we even be able to make the crossing? Is our beloved boat a total loss? Who’s responsible for this disaster? How do we even begin to fix this?
