One year ago we signed the contract, bought our home and took on a passage from the Azores to Portugal. And let us tell you - WE KNEW NOTHING ABOUT BOATING & even less about the lifestyle of living and working full time on a sailing boat. 😂
How amazing is it to be able to say, after lots of ups and downs, that we don’t regret this choice at all?

For many, the decision to renew wedding vows after a year is either a strategic or a purely sentimental move. Frankie and Patrick are part of the latter group who believe in cherishing and celebrating lifeu2019s simple pleasures and profound joys alike.
The Proposal for the Yacht Party
Frankie initiated this romantic idea. Inspired by images she saw online of spectacular seafront parties, it seemed like a whimsical yet perfect way to commemorate their first year as man and wife. Not long after, Patrick jumped at the proposal with the same excitement, perhaps unsurprising since he too holds strong convictions about celebrating special milestones.
Choosing the Yacht
The hunt for the perfect yacht began. The coupleu2019s dream was to charter an open-top, glass-bottom vessel with a live band onboard for entertainment, an open bar and plenty of delicious food.
The Journey on the Glass Bottom Yacht
The day dawned with anticipation, their excitement was palpable as they boarded the yacht named ‘Sea Whisperer’. As they sailed out, they found the sea more majestic and vibrant than ever. The open-top gave a clear view of the sky as it transitioned from blue to a star-filled canvas.
Sailing Towards the Sunset
While they savored the food, music filled the air as friends and family danced around them. Their eyes glistened with shared emotions and memories from the past year as they sailed towards a spectacular sunset.
The Sunset Ceremony
As the last rays of the sun dipped below the horizon, Frankie and Patrick walked to the rear end of the yacht. With friends looking on, they renewed their vows in a simple yet deeply moving ceremony.
Celebrations and Memories
After the ceremony, everyone joined in another round of music and dance. As night enveloped them, the glass floor allowed them to witness sea creatures swimming in their world of blue tranquility below.
