“I`m Not Dying. Not Yet”.
This week, just after the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, holds layers of meaning for me.
– Six years ago, I moved aboard Wahine and launched the Pacific Solo dream.
– 39 Years ago this week, we welcomed our first son, Luke Willam Arthur and said goodbye far too soon.
– And this year, my whole family came to a remote island to celebrate my 70th birthday: three days of sea swims, waterfalls, laughter, and love.
This week, past and present came together.
Grief and joy. Endings and new beginnings.
A chance to reflect, and to celebrate.
This video is about memory, meaning, and what it truly means to live well as we age. It’s also the heart of my next book, A Journey Beyond the Blue Zone, a deeper dive into living fully—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
If you’ve ever loved, lost, aged, grieved, laughed, or wondered what’s next, this video is dedciated to you.
Thanks to Mackenze, Eli and @SailingRamona for the some of the footage
