Hi .. . this is not a normal episode. Just wanted to update on my whereabouts. I have made it to Havu Port on the southern tip of Oshima. It was a bit of a miserable day yesterday sailing from Misaki here but I learned a lot facing mild adversity. Have made some adjustments and leaving here within the next hour or so.

My goal is to get blue water experience, and I have a permit good for 30 days that allows me to go beyond 5 nautical miles of shore. I will be a couple hundred or more. I may go as far as Okinawa but not sure. It depends where the wind and waves take me. I have a kind invitation to visit Amami Oshima so would like to visit there.

Anyways, if you are interested you can track my whereabouts by clicking on the Where`s Wahine Button on my home page. www.pacificsolo.com
