Happy Ocean Day! (My first imovie)
July 22, 2020 by Pacific Solo | Language: EN Play Time: 00:02:48 | SAILING YOUTUBERS

Its Marine Day in Japan or (海の日, Umi no Hi). ( i just used imovie for the first time) You can read more about it`s history and significance here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marine_Day
We used to put a message in a bottle but now the bottle has become the message.
My mission is to sail through the Great Pacific Garbage Patch to Nemo North and witness for myself what is happening. I have no preconceived notions as to what I will see. Many say I will see nothing and others tell me they that I will need to constantly go under the boat to remove tangled debris.
Part of my goal is to link with students and classes while I am saying as part of the Great Pacific Learning Project. I want to learn and I hope I can enable others to learn as well.
I gave a presentation at the IAFOR ( International Academic Forum) Education COnference in March on the Learning Project. It was to have been live but became a zoom event instead. I have included a few sequences in this Marine Day Greeting. To watch the better and full version please go to this link
Happy Ocean Day everyone. Oh and if you have not done so already, please click the subscribe button. I really helps me and it is free.
BTW I am using imovie for the first time
