Damaged by a Lightning Strike! Now What? (solo sailing set back)

Finally, inspection day arrived, but in doing routine maintenance, while Wahine is out of the water, I discovered a two-year-old repair needed to be done again, and then one thing led to another. It seems that a lightning strike is to blame and I am needing to inspect the keel bolts to ensure there is no rust. There is also some concern that the keel itself is loose. I am gutted as I was to set sail for Fukuoka the day after the inspection and continue my training voyage around Japan. Instead, I am forced to leave Wahine . . . but there may be a silver lining! I hope you enjoy this one.
