Boat Maintenance, Painting the Hull and More! / solo sailing

I will be entrusting my life to the vessel that will carry me across the Pacific, through the Garbage Patch, and north to Vancouver after passing through Nemo North. SV Wahine has some years behind her, and my friend Gregor Neumann (who has been staying with me temporarily as he journeys across the globe) has helped me make repairs to various parts of the boat.

For the first time in a year, we took SV Wahine out of the water, and with the help of my friend Robin, we put a fresh coat of paint on Wahine’s hull.
