Harbor-Hopping the Wrong Way (North) š SBā¢Point Conceptionā¢San Simeon #ourladydefiant #liveaboard
In this video we pick up after having spent some time in Santa Barbara, and doing another trip to Santa Cruz Island. On our way back we made awesome time, doing the 21-mile trip in a little over 2.5 hours, and surrounded by excited dolphin for large chunks of time.
After spending some time in SB, we found a weather window to go up to start harbor-hopping up the coast, back home to San Francisco Bay. In advance of that weather window opening up, we staged ourselves at Cojo anchorage just inside of Pt. Conception.
From there, we rounded the point and next spent a couple days at Sansimion – our favorite anchorage so far on the California coast. That’s where I end this video. Our final two legs to Monterey and then San Francisco will come later.

Our Lady Defiant
We live on our J-133, named Defiant, and sail along the California coast when we're bored of sailing in our home port of San Francisco Bay. We love to race, as well as cruise, so we bought a boat that does both, and we use it for both regularly! We also have a cat, named Whiskey, who we bring along with us for all the adventures.
