This one is built for adventure! Today, we’re stepping aboard the 2026 Jasper Marine Defender 22, a serious mini-Explorer boat or a Tow tender built in British Columbia and designed for real-world capability.
This is not your average Cabin Boat. The welded aluminum hull, the rugged construction, and the purposeful layout make this the kind of boat you’d pair with an expedition yacht or use as a tow tender behind a larger mothership. Some of my favorite things? The solid feel underfoot, the practical deck space, and how ready this boat looks for remote cruising. Rico absolutely loved the heavy-duty build quality — this is the kind of boat that feels like it can take a beating and keep going. And YES, you can Beach it too!
