This is BIG! Something new from Aquila… and we were really curious to see it in person. Today, we’re stepping aboard the Aquila 50 Sail Catamaran, the brand’s move into the sailing world after years of building popular power catamarans. The first thing you notice is the space and light. The salon is surrounded by huge windows, the cockpit flows beautifully into the interior, and the entire boat feels open and incredibly comfortable.
Some of my favorite parts? The entertainment bow and the privacy of the cabins! It’s clearly designed for people who want to spend real time onboard. Rico loved digging into the sailing setup and overall design approach — it’s always interesting to see how a brand known for powercats interprets a sailing platform.
