Does Florida have THE MOST Mega Yachts in the World? It sure seems that way! (EP 62)
Our cruising season is well underway! We had made it to South Florida where we ogled mega yachts and mega mansions. But our goal was simple – GET TO THE BAHAMAS! So we didn’t take our timing window shopping.
However, we did have a decision to make. Should we go sailing at night taking advantage of a calm, which would mean motoring the whole way? Or try to sail across the gulf stream?
We opt for the light and calm conditions. And it is so calm that Cat is even able to sew a dress for Maddie while underway.
These are the conditions that we live for. Maybe it makes us “lazy sailors”, but we will take comfort any day of the week.
