( Be sure HD is on)
After 5 days at sea, we arrived at Kupang, the first Indonesia’s island we’ll visit. The immigration part is really folkloric as Jonathan as to go with the agent, Napa, sitting behind him on the scooter, to spend more than 2 hours at the office waiting for our papers… Not mentioning that he was actually spending a good time there with all the officers drinking some alcohol during office hours!… There were no other tourists except us in the city, so we were able to see what real Indonesia is.
After that, paper’s and entry procedures done, we visited the local market, and back to the beach a group of student arrived… and they wanted to take pictures with us, like if they have never seen white people before. It was so funny!
The engine broken, we waited few days to see what the problem was, and then decided to sail all the way to Bali, where it would be cheaper to repair. During our 2 days cruise to the next island, the wind went down, and we started to go backward… So Jo’s parents, on the multi-hull Black Lion, decided to tow us. Hopefully they were there!
Indonesia is beautiful, with all those volcanoes everywhere. In the next video you will see more of those magnificent landscapes.
Hope you enjoy this first episode! Subscribe to catch every of them 🙂
