A lot might know we were traveling with Catamaran Black Lion ( Jo’s parents) ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCC9iWoj32HEuGlVLqKee8JA/featured ) back in Indonesia. Unfortunately, we stayed 3 months in Bali to repair our engine, while they sail away to Borneo, Malaysia and Thailand. It was kind of sad, because sharing adventures with people you love is always interesting.

5 months later, we meet up again in Langkawi! It was such an emotional moment. They sailed away from Kuah at 4 am to go south to come sail the llast miles with us.

Jo did a first sail around the world trip with his parents, and the idea was to do another one, but each on their boat. By now, they’ve crossed the Indian Ocean and with all the things going on around the world, we’re still in Thailand, and we don’t know yet if we’ll be able to join them later in the year.

ATTENTION: si vous êtes très émotionnels, passez votre chemin, sinon, préparez-vous une boîte de mouchoirs! Beaucoup savent que nous avons voyagé avec Catamaran Black Lion, les parents de Jo, en Indonésie. Malheureusement, nous avons dû rester 3 mois à Bali pour réparer notre moteur, alors qu’ils ont mis les voiles pour Bornéo, la Malaisie et la Thaïlande. C’était un peu triste, car partager des aventures avec des gens qu’on aime est toujours enrichissant.

5 mois plus tard, on se retrouve à Langkawi! Besoin de vous dire que c’était émouvant? D’autant plus qu’ils ont quitté Kuah à 4 heures du matin pour aller à notre rencontre vers le sud et venir parcourir les derniers milles avec nous ( bon, plus tôt cette journée là on leur a fait pousser des cheveux blancs, on vous raconte).

Jo a fait un premier tour du monde en bateau avec ses parents, et l’idée était d’en faire un autre, mais chacun sur son bateau. Présentement, ils ont traversé l’océan Indien et avec tout ce qui se passe dans le monde, nous sommes toujours en Thaïlande, et nous ne savons pas encore si nous pourrons les rejoindre plus tard dans l’année. Croisons tous les doigts!
