In today’s sailing vlog, a Lagoon 42 hits the ground while entering the channel of Deltaville, VA. It’s every sailor’s nightmare to run aground, it’s simply a sailing disaster! Luckily, just seconds from disaster 3 dinghies jumped to the rescue, and we were truly glad to hear that the catamaran made out safely. This event also hit us all with the hard realities of living on a sailboat as you’re able to lose your home in seconds and these are the risks that we take every day as we live aboard our own sailboat. Living Hakuna
We left our corporate jobs in Miami because we didn't have the freedom to do the things that made us happy so we started our own e-commerce business, becoming first time entrepreneurs and digital nomads. A few months later rented our house for three months to live in Dominican Republic with our dogs, Ozzy and Echo. That's when we found our biggest passion, kitesurfing. Since them, we decided to chase the wind around the world. First, we built an off-grid camper to visit the best kite spots in North America by land and now we've decided to go all-in by living aboard a sailing catamaran so we can travel in the comforts of our home where ever the wind blows.
