E93 Vlog of Life in a Nutshell RV travels.

Follow us as we embark on a road trip across America on the famous Route 66. This episode covers the section from Illinois to Missouri with many highlights along the way.

On this leg, we found plenty of icons: the Gemini Giant, the Polk-a-Dot Drive Inn, Ambler’s Texaco Gas Station, Old Route 66 Family Restaurant, Ferrari on Route 66, Standard Oil Gas Station, the Chenoa Family Restaurant, Sprague’s Super Service, The Old Station, The Hen House, Chain of Rocks Canal, Gardenway Motel, Sunset Motel, Villa Ridge, Circle Inn Malt Shop, Johnnie’s Restaurant and the Totem Pole Trading Post.

We stayed at a few beautiful, scenic RV spots including Beaver Dam State Forest and Bennett Spring State Park.

A wonderful start to an epic trip, 2600 miles on the Historic Route 66, Chicago to Los Angeles.

Thank you all for joining us on this adventure.
