We pack up Peanut and Nutshell for the cyclone season and leave Darwin to begin a massive road trip.
We are going to drive to Perth. We will spend quite a few months there building up the cruising kitty and visiting family and friends.
This episode is the beginning of our journey.
We quickly check out an abandoned WWII Station Hospital. Only a few concrete slabs remain.
We pull in at the Gove Hill Heritage Hotel in the hope of a cool beer, but, alas it is closed. It’s a funky place to visit and look around.
We camp at Lake Argyle and try to attract the inquisitive Apostlebirds.
We then make our way to El Questro and check out Saddleback Ridge and Pigeon Hole Lookouts with their tricky hill climbs!
Thanks for watching.
Until next time…
Wendy and Magnus
