Ep 152 | Abort! Abort! Scary Atoll Pass, Sailing Pacific Nutshell

We take a short sail around the corner to the little bay nicknamed Daniel’s Bay. Here we catch up with a local family and buy the delicious grapefruit style citrus fruit, pomplemousse picked straight off the trees.

We leave Nuka Hiva and start our 5 day passage to the Tuamotus. We arrive at Raroia Atoll and make two attempts to get through the pass. It’s a scary experience!
