Ep 121 | We Can't Leave, Port Closed! Sailing Nutshell

We are finally ready to leave Marina Chiapas only to be thwarted at the final gate. The port it closed due to a cyclone threat just off the coast. So, yet again, we wait. In the meantime we fill our tanks with fuel via a quick outing and Wendy does a little acrylic painting as a gift for a neighbouring boat.

We are also invited to a birthday party in the nearby Playa Linda and spend the afternoon drinking marguerites, Mexican style, and sampling some local Mexican cooking, which is lovely.

And, of course, the boat jobs continue. This week is all about varnishing.
