How much does a Gondola ride cost? The City of Venice sets the official rates: â¬80 for 40 minutes during the day, and at night from 7pm the rate jumps to â¬100, for up to 6 people.
When did we travel? We travelled in April. It was still super cold at night, so rug up if you’re visiting during the shoulder seasons.
Did it smell? No! Not while we were there!
Best view? Head to the Rialto Bridge with a gorgeous view of the Grans Canal at sunset.
Best gelato: Venchi. Itâs amazing!! Try the Condensed Milk flavour!

Note: Since filming this Iâve been told feeding pigeons is not advised despite people doing it everywhere. So just pretend youâre trying to feed them (like I did initially) and you should be able to get close it youâre keen!
