PFDs, tethers, jack lines, life raft, flares, ditch bag … oh my! We are headed out for Cuba crew, so we wanted to take a moment and share with you all of the really cool safety gear we take with us, some designed to keep us on the boat, others to get us safely off and cool electronics and gadgets made to hale emergency response teams if necessary. Always good to be prepared! Hope you all are planning your own offshore voyage soon and find these tips helpful!

This will wrap up Season Four on the channel, our “How To” series on how to prepare your body, mind and boat for traveling offshore. We may be out of pocket for a couple of weeks while voyaging to Havana, but we’ll kick off Season Five as soon as we can which will be all about our travels!
