A highlight of their time in Taha was experiencing near-perfect conditions for diving. As the tide slowed, they were able to fully appreciate the stunning coral structures beneath the surface, including an impressive display of blacktip sharks, tridacna clams, and bun starfish.
Anchored in Time
During their stay, the team discovered that while they may have sought out this remote paradise for its natural beauty and seclusion, it was the bonds they formed with fellow sailors and locals alike that made this expedition truly unforgettable. This human connection gave their journey a deeper purpose, reminding them of the importance of cherishing each moment together and embracing joy in simple things.
A Culinary Celebration
To celebrate the team’s friend Brian’s birthday, they enjoyed a memorable feast cooked by their friend Fabio. With the catch of the day and a delicious homemade curry prepared on Wandas, everyone gathered together to enjoy a floaty party in honor of the occasion.

What WE FOUND SAILING the Tuamotus
We have sailed to places of incomparable beauty, the kind that stays with you. It’s what first drew us to this life. But as time passed we realized something was missing. We were searching for a different kind of beauty - one more profound and enduring. Human connection. Kindred spirits with a passion for exploring the earth’s unspoiled, natural beauty above and below the surface. This week we find ourselves in Tahanea, an uninhabited atoll, in the Tuamotus Archipelago of French Polynesia. There is a caretaker who lives here part time but other than that, it’s just the coral, fish and other sea creatures beneath the waves and birds, crabs and rats on land. The water here is truly spectacular with some of the best visibility we’ve experienced and some of the most beautiful coral we’ve seen. What’s even better is we’re here with our friends from @svdelos and @WEsail
