After almost 5 years living and sailing on our catamaran Wanderlust and 2 previous anchor chains we’ve discovered the best stainless steel anchor chain from @cromox.chains They use extremely high quality stainless, 316 or above and ours is 318, making it more corrosion resistant. The electrolytic polishing Cromox does makes the chain super smooth so it lays nicely in the locker. It’s made in Germany and precisely calibrated to work seamlessly with our Vetus Maxwell windlass. It’s also perfectly compatible with our stainless steel anchor. Finally, a durable anchor chain that keeps our floating home safe and gives us peace of mind when at anchor. Harbors Unknown
Harbors Unknown is the story of two dreamers, Kristin and Fabio Potenti, and our French Bulldog Yoda. We sold our home at the beginning of the pandemic (May 27th, 2020) and moved aboard our Seawind 1600 catamaran, SV Wanderlust, in September. We’re documenting boat life as live aboard sailors, sharing our learnings, sailing adventures, travel experiences and delicious meals cooked on board. We're sailing SV Wanderlust to Harbors Unknown, to explore the world’s vast cultures through food, a common thread amongst people everywhere. Connecting with people and places through the local cuisine, and showing how those dishes can be cooked on a boat with limited space and resources.
